An asphalt company has acquired exclusive UK rights to distribute a cold asphalt solution which could help tackle the country’s pothole problem.
Red Stag Materials – a company made up of infrastructure and highway maintenance experts – will roll out asphalt solution EZ Street across the UK.
Unlike traditional means of pothole repair, EZ Street doesn’t require heavy plant to install, and can be bulk-bought and stored for up to 12 months. It is also faster to install.
Red Stag Materials managing director Grant Shewan said the company “wanted to provide something that offers a higher-quality and less-expensive alternative, but crucially, one that’s also greener and more sustainable as well”.
